Cassie Curtis Personal Profile

Cassie Curtis is new recording artist from Florence, SC and is attending North Greenville University. She's been singing and playing the piano since she was four years old, and has been playing guitar for a couple of years too. Her Dad is a pastor, so she has had many opportunities to use her talents in the church. Growing up, she also enjoyed performing in school plays and musicals. She's even had the unique privilege of acting, singing, and dancing in Florence’s community theater. In the last couple of years, She has been able to lead worship in youth and college settings. She also loves the chances to play and sing with the Cornerstone Worship Band when she is at home. Music is a big part of her life!

Cassie is also an athlete. She grew up playing competitive basketball and tennis in school. She has a pretty good jump shot in hoops (It’s “money”!) and a wicked backhand on the tennis court. She is currently playing on the college tennis team. She even gets to play doubles with my older sister, Cherie. Her ping pong skills are pretty stellar too.

Some of Cassie's hobbies include reading, listening to music, going to movies, playing sports, messing around on the guitar, and texting.

Cassie has always enjoyed writing and has loved the opportunity to see her own songs come to life on the her new album. The songs flow out of personal experiences in her walk with God. She speaks honestly about the struggles and challenges of developing a consistent walk with God, and she reminds herself and others that the solution isn’t found by simply trying harder—it’s found by loving God and living for His glory alone. Cassie's prayer is that listeners will be challenged and encouraged to grow in their relationship with God and the knowledge of His purposes for them.
